Fiddle Styx is a unique locale in Northwest CT. A cow barn built in 1840 and renovated in 1939, it served as a violin retreat for world-class musicians with dormitory-style bedrooms and a great hall performance room. At the time of the renovation, the grounds were designed with a swimming pond, spillways and natural springs to enhance an already bucolic setting. After years of loving use, the property was in great disrepair. In 2019, we began the project of repairing and bringing it back to life.
